How to choose the right company for your network marketing business?

Tips #1: Make sure it’s legitimate

With so many work-from-home opportunities arising, it can be confusing to know which one is legitimate and which one is not.

You definitely don’t want to spend all your money, time and effort into building a pyramid scheme that’s not sustainable and tarnishing your own reputation.

Tips #2: Choose monthly consumable products or monthly subscription-based services

Don’t get me wrong, there are so many companies with great products and services. I have no doubt about that, and I respect these companies that put in their best effort to come out with great products or services that benefitted many people.

However, if your goal is to build a long-term passive and residual income, then you might want to look into monthly consumable products or monthly subscription-based services. This is how you can ensure a sustainable monthly passive income from your team – both the customers and business builders.

If you are selling a one-time product, such as kitchen cookware, your customers will not buy new kitchen cookware every month. Ask yourself, will you? 

So, after selling the kitchen cookware to your customers, they won’t buy it again next month and the following months. 

But to maintain your monthly sales volume, you will have to work even harder to keep on looking for new customers that would love your kitchen cookware. Can you imagine how hard and how much time you have to spend working this business? Is this what you want?

But if you are selling monthly consumable products or monthly subscription-based services, you will spend less time and effort looking for new customers since these customers will always come back to you month after month once they finish consuming the products.

One great example of monthly consumable products is skincare and supplements in the health and wellness industry.

Tips #3: Great and cutting edge quality products

The products need to be able to solve the problems of many customers. Therefore, great products bring in happy customers every month. 

This will help you build a sustainable monthly income from your happy customers.

Tips #4: Look at the compensation plan

A compensation plan is how you are rewarded financially when you work on the business. Each company has a different compensation plan than the other. 

It’s not easy to understand how the compensation plan works especially if you are new to this industry. Trying to understand all the details of each company’s comp plan will overwhelm you.

You will only understand how the compensation plan works once you start earning. So instead of trying to figure out the details of the compensation plan, focus only on these few things:

• Monthly autoship
• How to prevent your point from being flush?
• Are you being paid 100%?

Tips #5: Company and team

Choosing the right company is important. A few things to pay attention to…

1. You like the company culture and the products
2. If it’s a newly established company, get in touch with the management team to find out more about their company’s business plan and vision.
3. If it’s already an established company for a few years, then look for the distributor team that provides strong support and has a good team culture.
4. Or, if you like to do charity, you can also choose a company that is supporting charity too. For example, the company that I work with has an incredible passion for children. Therefore, they also run a charity organization focused on kids, such as building schools in poor villages around the world. All the distributors can join in to support at any time.
