How to set up your Facebook personal profile for your business?
In network marketing, Facebook personal profile is a better platform than a business page. You can check out the reasons from my post here.
Network marketing is a human relationship business. People buy from those that they know, like and trust.
Therefore, there are things that you should, and should not do on your Facebook personal profile.

#1: Your Facebook cover photo
Show a good photo of you to help people know you immediately. For example, a photo of you traveling, a photo of you with your family, a photo of you attending a great event.
Do not put any photo without you, such as photos of flowers, cats, dogs, buildings and so on. Because people are going to be clueless about who you are when they see your cover photo. When people do not know you, you make it harder for them to trust and like you.
Do not put a cover photo of your company products. When you do that, you represent yourself as a salesperson and that turns people off.
#2: Your Facebook profile picture
Same reasons as mentioned above, do not use company product photos, or any photo without you.
Use a photo that can see your face clearly. That’s the number one rule of building trust and relationships on social media.
#3: Update your Intro section
Show where you studied or graduated, and your previous experiences.
As for your current job, you are encouraged to change it to “self-employed”.
#4: Update your Bio section
Are you aware that Facebook lets you add a short Bio to your profile to help your friends learn more about you? You can write up to 101 characters in your Bio, and it will always be public.
The Bio section is not hashtag friendly, so no need to add any. Do not use emojis for a concise summary. Emoji takes up more characters.
Some ideas to use fewer characters:
Replace “at” with @, “money” with $, “and” with &.
Make it short and straight to the point.
#5: Add photos to your Featured section
This section is public on your timeline. Choose photos that you would like to highlight so that people can know you better. Again, for the same reasons mentioned above, do not use company product photos here.
#6: Your posts content
People join or buy from those that they like and trust. Ask yourself, do you like to surround yourself with positive people or negative people.
Positive people are the one that spread encouragement, write good contents that help others, or add some laughter to make people happy. Positive people can build trust and friendship easily.
Negative people are the ones that complain on Facebook, spread negative news, and so on. We all have negative moments. I get it. But, let’s keep it to a private conversation with someone that you trust. This will help you solve your issue more effectively without airing your dirty laundry publicly.
Delete all the negative posts that you posted previously. If you can’t delete all, then, at least, clear those that were posted at least one year ago.
After that, start posting good content that helps to cultivate your relationships positively.
Lastly, do not turn your Facebook (and Instagram too) into an advertising billboard by posting all your company products.
