Why Having A Blog For Your Network Marketing Business
While blogging is optional, it’s a great way for your long-term network marketing success especially if you do not have any influence in your circle or community yet.
This is especially true if you prefer to tap into online stranger markets. Here’s why.
Why Having A Blog For Your Network Marketing Business?
Reason #1: You don’t own anything from your network marketing company
The truth is you don’t own your downline, the products, and the intellectual property when you build your network marketing team for your company. No one can guarantee a company will stay forever. The company can go bankrupt or shut down at any time. Or, you can be terminated by your company at any time, for any reason. So, yes, you don’t own anything.
But if you build your blog right, it is a genuine business, a real asset, and you OWN it! With your blog, you can sell anything you like. You can even have a smooth transition from one company to another company.
Reason #2: You don’t own your social media
Your social media accounts are not your assets. Your accounts can be shut down at any time, or the social media can stop operating at any time.
If you build your business solely using social media, you may lose all your leads and contacts immediately if you lose your social media accounts to hackers, or are shut down.
Reason #3: Build your credibility
In network marketing, people are joining people, not joining the company or products. When you have a blog, it establishes you as the authority and someone who can be trusted. This is especially true in online stranger markets since they do not know you in person yet.
Reason #4: Reach Global
The beautiful thing about blogging is that it operates 24/7, even while you sleep. It allows you to connect with a global audience, people that are from every country. If you build it right with proper marketing and SEO, you will get free traffic from the search engines 24/7, and have leads coming to you without you approaching them.
Reason #5: Multiple Income Sources
Besides selling your network marketing products or opportunities, you can also promote and sell your other expertise, other affiliate products from Amazon and tech companies, and many more.
However, blogging is not for everyone. If you prefer to build your business offline, stick with it. You don’t have to force yourself to do blogging.
It only makes sense to have a blog if you intend to expand your business and brand beyond your network marketing company.
Why do I have a blog?
Because I have a passion for sharing what I know/learned about the network marketing and home business industry. I already have the skillset of creating a website. Before my blog DanyelleTan.com, I already built another blog sharing about the interior and architecture industry. So it makes sense for me to have a blog.
